The challenge:
Newton work hand in hand with their clients, delivering at the coalface. Together, they crack some of the largest and most complex challenges in the public and private sectors, by pinpointing and implementing the changes that will create the greatest impact.
Newton was looking for an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that could handle the increasing volume and complexity of their graduate recruitment process. Faced with 20% annual growth targets, they sought an ATS with the capacity to meet these demands.

What Newton Europe were looking for in an ATS:
- Integrations: The ATS needed to be able to build and manage integrations with various platforms
- Automation: They screen, rank, and communicate with over 25,000 applicants, they needed a system that allowed them to rely on automated features to facilitate this
- Customisation & self configurability: They value having control over their systems, and wanted to work closely with the supplier to create a system and processes that were bespoke

The Results
- Education screening tool: 19,000+ pre-university results are assessed by the system, saving 600+ hours of work.
- Oleeo’s Online Test Player: 17,600 number of candidates were screened using the online test functionality. The candidates are given the outcome via email within 24 hours.
- Interview scheduling tool: 2,500+ candidates self-scheduled Selection Days, saving an estimated 500+ hours of manual booking, and 100+ hours for final interviews.
- Integrations – Selection Day: Talenscio (Selection Day Platform): the integration facilitated the processing of 2,100 candidates at selection day; saving 60 hours in administration.
- Integration – Video Interviews: 4,100 candidates went through the external video interview platform
- Pre-boarding: 130 offer holders were processed in 2022 through the pre-boarding portal. The automation has saved an estimated 40+ hours of shared inbox and administration work.
